Hundreds of emails and messages later

The Trump Effect is overwhelmed and humbled by the literal hundreds of submissions it has received in the last 24 hours.

Many of the primary sources are from social media (Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter).  

While the personal nature of this collection does not escape us, the editorial decision has been made, for now, to limit shared selections to those that are reported by a third party, whether it be a newpaper, e-zine, or some other journalistic source.    This is both to limit the chances of accidentally reporting an unverifiable or inaccurate story, and to protect the privacy of first party reporters, as the Trump Effect does not currently have the time to message each individual first party and ask for permission to share their stories.

We encourage you keep the links and stories coming.  If you have a link to something that doesn't quite meet the standards set above, we encourage you to send it anyway.  Editorial discretion may apply.
